Aurea Quilt by Studio Ford
Welcome to the imaginative world of - Studio Ford, our newest textile Maker. Drawn to their captivating patterns and saturated tones, we are happy to introduce them to all of you. All pieces are made in the Tradition of Indian block-printing and handloom weaving.
The Soirée collection is inspired by costume patterns and set illustrations of the early 20th century avant-garde theater, the collection is structured around bringing patterns together that alternate between expressive bold prints and disciplined fine ink line.
Organic pods, plumes, scallops, and florals are abstracted and reinterpreted by hand drawing. The palette is drawn from Indian miniature paintings - vermilion and rose, kohl and tarnished gold, pale stone and warm sandalwood - colors that read mineral and time-softened.

As each piece is entirely handmade there may be pattern irregularities and dye changes throughout the collections that are part and parcel of this ancient art of block printing.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping
All orders are processed within 1 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Please note, processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout. During high order volume periods, like national holidays, or extreme weather events, there may be delays in shipping through our third-party shipping carriers. The Ark Elements is not responsible for any shipping delays once the items leave our warehouse.
Returns
All sales are final. In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted on eligible items for store credit only within 10 business days of the invoice date, and must be accompanied by a receipt. Also, please read the item descriptions carefully - we carry many works by small artisans and the handmade origins often lend to small imperfections that are part and parcel of the collections herein.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Credit is good for one year from date of issue.
All packaging must remain intact and must be documented for shipping insurance claims.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. To initiate a return of any item that arrives damaged, please contact us info@thearkelements.com
The following items are not eligible for return: Fine Art, Historical /Vintage items, Soft Goods (lampshades, pillows, throws, linens, napkins), Sale Items.
All merchandise sold in “as is” condition.
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations are not accepted on special orders.
